How did Lucas get Starwars to look so go.

What kind of camera did he use?

How much does it cost to transfer Digital to film.

It was a Sony body with Panavision lenses I believe.

In theory you could create the graphics used in AoTC for the cost of a new PC and the time it takes you download RedHat Linux and supporting 3D apps. Oh, and render time of 2000 x 1000 x 32bit x 24fps on a single node. Best get that renderfarm ...

Yes, RedHat is now the preferred platform for Dreamworks, ILM, Henson CreatureShop, ...

And ILM are starting to use stock AMD Athlon systems to replace their creaking (and overpriced) SGI workstations.

Death to MS Wintel Palladium (please!)

Brenda, I seem to be detecting small errors in your sentence structures that lead me to wonder if you have not made a similar error in the amount you say you have to spend.

Have you already gained experience by working on other people's films and can we assume this isn't your first foray into filmmaking?

I do have a Grammar disablilty. It took me years to build up good enough Credit rating so I can get Credit Cards & Loans in 100,000,plus My Parents help & Jobs & saving. I did make a few Video and took A producing class .

Brenda, if I was you I would pocket that money and save it for the future. From what you have said it seems that you need to get more experience in the field first. At the end of the day it's up to you but I think your just going to end up with a finished film and an empty bank account. It is very hard to make a good film with your first venture, most film makers fall into this hole.
